Canton Fair Phase II is underway in Guangzhou, and at Booth 12.1 I11-12 / H34-35 our sample tables have rarely been empty. Here is what visitors are reaching for — and what it says about where windows are heading.
Cordless keeps winning on looks. Visitors consistently pause at the cordless display, and it is easy to see why: the window reads as a clean plane of material with nothing interrupting it. Practically, there is no cord to tangle or reach for; visually, the effect is a quieter, more finished window.
Honeycomb and zebra bring texture into the conversation. These two constructions pull attention for different reasons — honeycomb for its soft structure and insulation story, zebra for the crisp banded rhythm it gives a room. Side by side with flat slats, they show how much a window's character can shift without changing the room around it.
Material decides the mood. The swatch fans have been in near-constant use: Paulownia and basswood for warmth and natural grain, PVC and faux-wood for humidity-prone spaces, aluminium for slim profiles and architectural consistency. Buyers are matching finishes to markets, not just to preferences.
Scale is the quiet headline. Interest in motorized systems continues to grow, especially where openings are wide — one continuous panel instead of a compromise split in two.
Phase II continues this week. If you are at the fair, come by Booth 12.1 I11-12 / H34-35 and see the finishes for yourself.
